Online Enrollment Guide

If you want to remain enrolled in the Einstein Student Health Plan for yourself and any dependents you may have enrolled under your coverage, no action is required. Your enrollment will continue for the next six months and your student account will be charged accordingly.

Returning Medical Students: Fall - 04/18/2022 - 05/13/2022

New Medical Students: Fall - 07/15/2022 - 08/06/2022

All Students: Spring - 11/16/2022 - 11/30/2022

The Spring/Summer 22-23 waiver deadline ended 11/30/2022. The online waiver system can no longer accept new waiver requests.

You may request to waive out of the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) if your alternate insurance health plan meets the following requirements: 

1. Medical coverage must be currently active.
2. Medical coverage must be ACA Compliant.

1. Employer-sponsored group plans
2. Marketplace plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans)
3. New York Medicaid (NJ, CT Medicaid are approvable plans)

If your alternate coverage meets the above minimum requirements, submit electronic copies of the following document(s) with your online waiver request:

• An electronic copy of the front and back of your health insurance ID card indicating the student as a covered member.
• Proof of coverage, such as a coverage letter, or certificate may be required to verify active coverage.
